International Women's Day

8th March is observed as International Wom’s Day by organising different programs. Vayavalamban made this occasion to reiterate their commitment to the lesser privileged women.A program was organised at the Aanganwadi in Gajrawadi area of Vadodara. In collaboration with Vatsalya Foundation, Sakhi sanitary napkins were distributed to the women of the slum areas attached with this aanganwadi. Nearly 50 women were handed over the biodegradable sanitary napkins to ensure better health and hygiene for them. Fruits were also distributed to the children who are enrolled in the aanganwadi. The distribution was made from the donation of Rs.5000/- received from five members of Vayavalamban. Present on this occasion to handover the items were Mr HN Garg, Mrs Meenu Tewari, Mr Anil Rajput and Mrs Vrutika Rajput, Mrs Gita Singh and Mrs Madhulika Burman. Mrs Anita Chauhan from Vatsalya Foundation coordinated the program.
