Vision: To be a catalyst in creating a lively and interconnected community of senior citizens where they age with dignity and joy.

Vayavalamban was conceptualised in 2023 as a not-for-profit organisation in Vadodara (regd no. Gujarat/3904/Vadodara) to connect senior citizens who are seeking socially relevant opportunities to live their twilight years with a purpose and dignity. Indian society is transitioning from joint family system to nuclear family style. This has exposed the elderly to emotional, physical and financial insecurity. Surveys show that senior citizens, staying alone or with spouse has more than doubled in the last decade. This social trend is a serious issue where senior citizens are having to cope with loneliness that results in poor mental and physical health.

Vayavalamban (V4Us) is a community of senior citizens who firmly believe in living their golden years independently, with dignity and purpose. V4Us as the name suggests allows the elderly to live in a community where they are equal partners in all initiatives.

A wide range of activities are organised to keep the members connected and remain physically and emotionally healthy.

Utilising the talent and experience of its members, Vayavalamban has also taken a pledge to serve humanity and help build a society with right values. Imparting education to children, empowering women, environment protection, healthcare will be the focus areas for our future programmes.
